5 Leather Skirts You Should Try This Season

Leather skirts need no introduction. They are a staple item for any wardrobe, and work well with casual outfits, formal wear or going out outfits. Here are my top 5 picks from stores this week. No affiliate links just my honest opinion.

1. Topshop Wrap Leather Skirt

I picked up this leather skirt last week in the Oxford Circus store. I saw it on my way out of the store and did a double take, it was love at first sight (true story). It’s on sale down to £20, however, I cannot find the link on the website so it’s probably best to go in store as there may be a few left. I have paired this with a roll neck jumper as Spring has not yet sprung here in London. I think it’ll also be perfect with a boyfriend tee, oversized shirt or a draped front blouse/bodysuit for a night look.

2. Zara Red Leather Pencil Skirt

This is a serious statement skirt and I absolutely love the colour! As it’s so bold, it would look great teamed with any neutral colours.

3. Missguided Grey Leather Mini Skirt

The length and colour of this skirt make it perfect for a night outfit! Paired with a biker jacket, as shown, or an oversized coat, heeled boots/sandals and a cross body bag.

4. ASOS Leather Mini Skirt with Paint and Stud Detail

PicMonkey CollageThe paint detail on this skirt ties in with the floral embroidered trend which is big this season. It’s the priciest of the 5 at £95, but has the most detailing. It’s a splurge, but worth it imo!

5. ASOS Khaki Leather Skater Skirt

It can be made formal with a buttoned shirt, or paired with a round neck blouse. You could also try dressing it down by undoing the top few buttons on a shirt and rolling up the sleeves, or wearing with a roll neck jumper, or plain boyfriend tee.

    1. Hey Effie! Glad you liked the post. For me, it depends on the occasion. For a more laid back look I think it’d look great with a roll neck top or a plain boyfriend tee (white or grey), make it simple on the top to not take away from the detail of the skirt! To dress it up try a cami top with heeled sandals. Hope this helped x
